Day 1: Nairobi-Lake Nakuru:
Pick up from your City hotel and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Morning game drive will take you to the lakeside. See thousands of resident flamingoes and many different species of fresh water birds. Lunch at the Lake Nakuru Safari Lodge. Afternoon game drive at the Park. Spot the white rhinos, black rhinos, lesser and greater Kudu, waterbucks, lions, elephants, leopards and many different animal species. Dinner and overnight at the Lake Nakuru Safari Lodge

Day 2. Lake Nakuru-Maasai Mara:
Early morning breakfast and then drive to Maasai Mara across the great Rift Valley. Beautiful sceneries along the way. Game en route to the Mara Serena Safari Lodge for Lunch. After lunch relax for 2 Hrs. Evening game drive at 1600Hrs. Spot hundreds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, lions, rhinos and many more. Dinner and overnight at the Mara Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 4: Maasai Mara-Nairobi-Amboseli
Early morning breakfast and leave Maasai Mara for Nairobi arriving in time for lunch at the Nairobi Serena Hotel. After lunch, drive to Amboseli National Park; see Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest Mountain in Africa. Evening game drive at 1600 Hrs. Dinner and overnight at the Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 5: Amboseli-Tsavo West
Early morning game drive before breakfast. Breakfast at 0800Hrs. After breakfast, drive out of Amboseli and drive to Tsavo West. Game en-route to Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge for lunch as well as check in. Visit the Mzima springs (a spring from Mt. Kilimanjaro) and see fresh water fish, crocodiles, hippos, birds and many more. Dinner and overnight at the Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 6: Tsavo West-Nairobi
Early morning game drive before breakfast. After breakfast, visit the Rhino sanctuary. Afterwards, leave Tsavo West and drive back to your City hotel.

Chose from five routes with varying degrees of difficulty and time on the mountain. All of our climbs are custom outfitted for each climb party. Your private group will have its own guide, porters and with the exception of the Marangu Route, your camp, though shared with others on similar climbs, will have a personal chef to prepare meals especially for your party. Naturally, you will encounter other people on the mountain and in the campsites, but the team organising your climb are dedicated to you and your friends and family who make up your climb adventure.

Each of our climbs is private for your party. This means you will be assigned your own mountain guide and porters. You will have a cook specifically for the people in your group. Naturally there are always other climbers on the mountain and if you are climbing on the Marangu Route, you may even share your hut with people that are not in your climbing group. This popular excursion is available on all safaris which include an overnight stay at any of the central Serengeti Lodges and campsites. It includes a pre- dawn collection from your accommodation for the trip to the launch site, take- off around dawn and a flight of around one hour duration.

After landing there is a champagne toast, and then passengers are taken to a very special breakfast served out on the open plains under the shade of an umbrella tree. After the meal, everyone is returned to Seronera Wildlife Lodge for collection by their drivers.
The safari is finished by about 9.30 a.m. so that this excursion can fit in with any itinerary- even where not all members of a group want to take the balloon option. Many of Ranger Safari’s customers choose to take this unforgettable trip, and we will be happy to make reservations and arrangements on your behalf.
Two balloons, with a capacity of 28 passengers in total, fly once each day. This is the only balloon trip available in Tanzania, and due to its popularity and limited capacity, advance booking is strongly recommended.
Should a balloon flight be cancelled by the operating company because of climatic conditions or any other reason, passengers will have the option of a flight the following day, where possible, or a full refund.
